What does being a mission-driven company mean ?
Introduced by France's PACTE law, the mission-based company framework enables companies to formally embed social and environmental objectives into their corporate purpose.

Turning our commitments into a long-term framework
Since Karos was founded, impact has been at the core of our business: accelerating the ecological transition, improving purchasing power and making everyday mobility more accessible across territories.
In June 2024, for our 10th anniversary, we officially became a mission-based company. By embedding our purpose and social and environmental objectives into our status, we made our mission a long-term framework for our strategy and development.
We measure success through impact
Our impact indicators are integrated into an Impact Business Plan, monitored alongside our financial Business Plan. They are tied to annual targets and help us measure our social, environmental and territorial impact.

An independent perspective on our mission
Our Mission Committee brings together experts from impact, sustainable mobility, investment and entrepreneurship. Its role is to provide an external, independent and demanding perspective on how we deliver our mission.

“The fact that Karos stayed true to its mission commitments in this context demonstrates the genuine nature of its approach.”

Contributing to four Sustainable Development Goals
Sustainable development is at the heart of our activity. Through our mission and business model, we contribute particularly to four of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
Helping territories develop more inclusive and sustainable everyday mobility.
SDG 13: Climate Action
Reducing transport emissions by increasing vehicle occupancy through everyday carpooling.

SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
Making everyday mobility more accessible, particularly in areas where alternatives to solo driving are limited.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
Working alongside public authorities, employers and mobility stakeholders to develop carpooling at scale.
Transparency is part of our commitment
Our Mission Committee independently reviews how we deliver against our statutory objectives and reports on the progress made, results achieved and areas for improvement.
Its first report covers the period July 2024 to December 2025 and concludes that Karos has built solid foundations for its mission, with strong overall alignment between the company's strategy and its commitments.
